Hiking in Thermen- & Vulkanland Styria

On a number of themed routes, guests can explore the treasures of Thermen- and Vulkanland Styria.

If you enjoy Nordic Walking and gentle hiking, Thermen- and Vulkanland Styria ist just the right place for you. You can either follow the "wine trail of senses" or explore the volcano trail.

Wine path for all senses

The wine path is entirely dedicated to Styrian wines, stretches over 14 km and takes about 5 hours. It starts at the all-Styrian wine shop and winds through to the watch tower at Frutten-Gießelsdorf and from there back to St. Anna am Aigen. Along the way numerous wine stops and wine farms can be visited.

The route markings are Styria wine bottles mounted on stainless steel columns, which point the way with the bottle neck. White, oval markings with painted red grapes serve as markings along the path (mainly in forest passages).
