Hartberg Palace

Renaissance-style palace with park and museum about the history of Hartberg in the centre of Hartberg.


The medieval 12th-century castle was acquired by the Counts of Paar in 1572 and rebuilt in the style of a Renaissance palace. A few years ago, a modern addition was added that provides excellent space for concerts, lectures, cabaret and conferences for up to 240 people. Open spaces can handle events for up to 650 people.
