Echt.gsund – Thermal Water Weeks 2020
The Focus is on Curative Thermal Spa Water
Thermal spa water is the most important asset in Styria’s Thermal Spa and Volcanic Region. It is the source of energy in Bad Radkersburg and Bad Gleichenberg, situated in the very south, and Loipersdorf, Bad Blumau and Bad Waltersdorf. All six thermal spas are situated on Styria’s thermal line between the Alps and Pannonian Basin. Curative thermal spa water, which is highly mineralised and heated up to 110 degrees Celsius, rises from depths of around 3,000 metres to the earth’s surface along this "fault line".
This was the first region in Austria to recognise the benefits thermal spa water confers on both body and soul, and to also prove these by way of two internationally recognised studies. We "warmly recommend" the ThermalWaterWeeks to all those who would like to explore the curative effects of the warm springs.
