A medieval castle in Stubenberg am See in eastern Styria, which was destroyed by several fires and which has been restored for a long time and can now be called a castle again - and not a ruin.
Constructed almost 700 years ago on the edge of the Rabenwald Wood, Neuhaus Castle is arguably the oldest Styrian high-rise. After centuries of neglect, renovations began in 1982, and today there are two suites and a double room for summer guests, as well as a knights’ hall that can be rented for events.
