A very varied hiking trail. Beautiful forest stretches alternate with beautiful views. Mostly in ridges (Dornegg and Hartbergen) on the way - only in the area Rehgraben there is a comfortable valley crossing.

From the spa to Dornegg only forest paths, then a short, little used municipal road with a beautiful panoramic view over the district of Stein and the Kögelberg area. Through the Rehgraben only forest and meadow path, up towards Hartbergen to the viewing terrace on the roof of the VINO.TAKE. Beautiful panoramic view of the Styrian hills, western Styria and to the east into Burgenland and Hungary.

I would recommend enjoying the beautiful panoramic view on the panoramic terrace on the roof of VINO.TAKE with a glass of wine. Opening hours: Mon-Sat 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 18:00

Directions

Start is in front of the spa left direction Hotel Stoiser and vis á vis into the forest, from where many trails begin. Here you follow the signs in the forest for about 2 km. In the field of vision you always have the municipal road towards Unterlamm. Then follows a short stretch of road accompanied by vineyards with a beautiful view to the right into the Rehgraben and Hartbergen and to the left to Stein and on the Kögelberg. Then it goes back into the forest and downhill into the Rehgraben. Here you cross the asphalt road and walk on a meadow path first flat into the Rehwinkel and then over serpentines towards Hartbergen. There you cross the Thermenstraße and then reach the viewing terrace on the roof of the VINO.TAKE. Afterwards, the trail goes off the road and over the "Krafthügel" back to the spa

FROM VIENNA & LOWER AUSTRIA
By car: South freeway (A2) to exit Ilz/Fürstenfeld. From here via Fürstenfeld bypass to Bad Loipersdorf.

FROM GRAZ
By car: on the A2 motorway in the direction of Vienna as far as the Ilz/Fürstenfeld exit. From here via Fürstenfeld bypass to Bad Loipersdorf.

FROM WESTERN AUSTRIA AND BAVARIA
By car: via Salzburg on the Phyrn freeway (A9) and the Süd freeway (A2) or via Carinthia on the Süd freeway (A2) to the Ilz/Fürstenfeld exit. From here via Fürstenfeld bypass to Bad Loipersdorf.

FROM ITALY OR SLOVENIA
By car: via Villach on the southern freeway (A2) to the Ilz - Fürstenfeld - Bad Loipersdorf exit or via Maribor on the Phyrn freeway (A9) and the southern freeway (A2) in the direction of Vienna to the Ilz/Fürstenfeld exit. From here via Fürstenfeld bypass to Bad Loipersdorf.

Start ist vor der Therme, links Richtung Hotel Stoiser weiter und vis á vis in den Wald hinein, von wo viele Wege beginnen. Hier folgen Sie ca. 2 km der Beschilderung im Wald. Im Blickfeld hat man immer die Gemeindestraße Richtung Unterlamm. Dann folgt ein kurzes Straßenstück begleitet von Weingärten mit schönem Blick rechts in den Rehgraben und Hartbergen und links nach Stein und auf den Kögelberg. Danach geht es wieder in den Wald und bergab in den Rehgraben. Hier quert man die Asphaltstraße und geht auf einem Wiesenweg zuerst eben in den Rehwinkel und danach über Serpentinen Richtung Hartbergen. Dort quert man die Thermenstraße und erreicht dann die Aussichtsterrasse am Dach der VINO.TAKE Kowald. Danach geht es abseits der Straße und über den Krafthügel zurück zur Therme.

Ich würde empfehlen, den schönen Rundblick auf der Aussichtsterrasse am Dach der VINO.TAKE Kowald mit einem Glas Wein zu genießen. Öffnungszeiten: Mo-Sa 9:00 bis 12:00 und 13:00 bis 18:00 Uhr
